Pyrograph delivers a torrential blend of unapologetic rock intensity that electrifies the modern music landscape, straight from the belly of California’s Central Valley. Formed in 2017 in the small town of Madera, their music embodies a raw fusion of heavy rock, alternative grit, and an unyielding commitment to authenticity. Inspired by rock giants like Alice In Chains, Audioslave, and Tool, Pyrograph challenges the limits of what modern rock can be.

In December of 2018, Pyrograph released their debut EP Creatures of Instinct, which stands as a testament to their hands-on ethos. Being recorded and produced entirely by themselves within their own creative sanctuary (a 96°F garage), it captures the visceral energy that ignites their live performances.

Through extensive runs of live shows, Pyrograph has amassed a sort-of cult following among the Central Valley rock scene. They’ve become a local staple, opening for acts such as Saliva, Dirty Honey, Doyle, and the Kyle Gass Band.

Pyrograph released a triad of singles in March of 2024 to support their self-titled debut full-length album Pyrograph, released on April 12, 2024. The new album features an eclectic array of songs ranging from explosive hard rock anthems like “Hollywood” and “Third Leg”, to introspective ballads like “Fire on My Mind”, to the 10-minute proggy powerhouse closer that is “Blot Out the Sun”. Pyrograph represents a turning point for the band, marking a maturation of their sound while still paying homage to their roots as heard on Creatures of Instinct.
